A Couple of Things

did anyone see American Idol the other night? There was an incredible story of a man who was born with 98% vision loss. Basically his only vision comes much like tunnel-vision or as he put it "looking through a straw". Incredibly, the man had overcome his disability and had taken advantage of opportunities to train classically in piano and even learn how to ballroom dance. It was incredibly inspiring and to top it off the guys voice isn't half bad. To wrap a bow around the story, he ended up getting his golden ticket from the four judges and will move on to the hollywood round of AI. The part where I lost it however, and by lost it I mean 70% cracked up and 30% drop-jaw happened after the mans audition. (Apparently, the world is just as taken with this, because the video has blown youtube and every other video sharing site) I'm talking about the part where Ryan Seacrest (either intentionally or unintentionally, i cant decide yet) goes to high -give the guy. Obviously the guy doesn't see him, so then Seacrest reaches down and grabs the guys hand, saying "I'm giving you a high-five". Might have been one of the most awkward moments that I have seen on TV in a looong time.
